I have started listening to music when I was born because there was no other wayJ My parents were very interested in music, that’s why I also felt in love with it and was very happy. I really think, that music is my life and that I will never stop listening and especially playing musicJ
I just said that music is and will be my life and I am sure that a lot of people are thinking the same. U really do not why and how but the music is taking you inside it, is and will never let you go away or out. It is really a part of your life and you cannot live without it. It doesn’t have to be one genre. There are so many styles of music and every sound has his own crowd. Especially electronic music was getting popular more and more each day and will continue like that without any `stop` or `break` .
I have many favorite genres in my mind and case, which makes me very happy because if you have only one favorite sound in your mind as a dj, then you will have problems in the near future because u will get bored of the sound which you are playing everywhere and then you think that you have to change it and at the end you will change it for sure. What I am doing is, playing music, which is depending the crowd, place and the time. I have everytime all sounds with me, wherever I go and am deciding there, what I will play. This is the most important thing for a dj, who wants to be successful. About the artists, there are really many producers which I like a lot but from year to year the names are changing because every single day, so many new and really talented producers are coming out to the scene. Of course there are also a lot of producers who are every time on the market, also if they are changing their style. They know very good how to make music and how to catch the crowd.
There are really so many tracks which are my favorites, from the 70’s till today and I am sure also that they will be more in the future, that’s why I do not wanna give you one name, please understand thatJ
Sharing tracks on free download sites is not the legal and right way of course. This is killing the labels especially because everybody is getting the tracks without paying any money. People all around the world has to show respect to the producers and labels and they have to think about this really serious and also have to learn, how to be a member of digital music stores and how to buy tracks. Not everyone has maybe a credit card for his own because there are a lot of young people as well. Even if they have a credit card, not everyone can understand English, that’s why these kind of stores must use easier English that everybody can understand the language easier and also can do shopping easier.
Reason
I was selected 3 years `best dj in turkey` so I can name that as big success of course.. International I can say, the productions, which brought my name out of my country and which were the reasons to play outside turkey. If you are asking me, if this is the right way to go out, I would answer `no` because producing is a totally different thing than djing.. If you have good productions and making your name worldwide with these tracks, other countries are starting to book you which is totally wrong I think.. They are even not asking if you are djing or if you are a good dj, nobody is coming to your country and checking you, how you are playing etc. Maybe they are listening to some of your sets or asking for them but doing sets and playing live in clubs or events is also totally different.. Better to say.. Recorded and live is also totally different 2 things.. This is really like football or we can say, it has to be like football.. If you ask me, watching videos of football players is enough to understand if they are good or bad, if you have a good football knowledge but even if they can do this, all managers are going to that country, which player they choose and are going to watch him live playing. This live playing is also not one time..3, 4, 5 or more than 5 times they are watching how the football player is playing in these games.. Then they are deciding if they will transfer him to their team or not.. The same they must do also with djs, if they want the dj to play his music live in the dj booth.. If they can’t come and watch and listen, then they have to ask for videos from the dj, live playing but of course it is not that easy to get videos from every dj. The biggest names are no problem of course because with this names the club owner or promoter knows that the party will be packed. What we can see easily in this is, that the name of the dj is more important than his or her music. This is really sad, but in a lot of countries it is like that. The first thought is, who can fill the club but it must be, who can make the people happy with his misic, who can let them dance like crazy, let them have fun like crazy, who can get the people drunk with his music, with his dj-set..` `MUSIC` must be the most important thing in booking, that is what I want from everybody in the world.. Only `music`.. How the dj builds his story, how he continues and how he is doing the final of his set.. These thing are the most important things in djing..
